DeNOVUS™ Expandable Sealers are a line of sealants that expand to different volumes to fill hollow cavities.

Expandable Sealers offer versatility and variety that allow for the product to be designed to meet the customer’s requirements. Parts can be molded into any required shape or size to meet specifications. The material can be designed to expand from 100% to 1000%.

Expandable sealer properties allow for excellent adhesion to both oily metal surfaces and electro-coated surfaces. Most expandables are heat-activated and perform well over a wide range of baking temperatures.

Expandable Sealers also provide corrosion protection.

The sealers are available in both dry and self-adhering forms. The dry form can be pinned in place, allowing a phosphate wash and electro-coating to penetrate prior to expansion. The self-adhering form allows for inverted application without the need for pinning.
